In the year 2148, humanity discovered an unknown extraterrestrial microorganism inside a meteorite—Virus V. With its extraordinary ability to regenerate cells, it could cure cancer and organ failure, and was hailed as a medical breakthrough that would change the future of mankind.

But the miracle didn't last. Soon after treatment, patients began losing their sanity, transforming into violent "Infected" driven only by the instinct to kill. Virus V spread beyond control, cities fell one after another, and human civilization stood on the brink of extinction.

Further investigation revealed that Virus V did not originate from Earth. It came from Titan, a distant planet with an environment strikingly similar to our own. Scientists believed the key to stopping the virus lay hidden there.

As humanity's last hope, the world's nations launched Project Noah—a desperate mission to send the deep-space vessel Noah to Titan in search of a cure that could save mankind.

But moments before launch, the base was overrun by an endless horde of the Infected.
